OUR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
** To have informal courses in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere;
** To offer a meeting place for residents of Mt Lawley and surrounding suburbs, a place to gain a sense of community;
** To provide quality, guilt-free childcare;
** To meet community needs for recreation and learning.

The Mt Lawley Neighbourhood Learning Centre is managed and operated by volunteers with the assistance of Lindsay in the office and Liz, our qualified Crèche Supervisor. The centre has a Management Licence for the building with the City of Stirling. Teachers are volunteers who have skills to share. The management committee are elected annually at a general meeting of members, and decisions are made at monthly management meetings.

Membership fees, course fees, and fundraising activities comprise the centre's primary funding. The City of Stirling maintains the building exterior and grounds and contributes some funds towards the centre's maintenance.

Membership fees are kept at a low $30 per year for a family, from 2nd Term $25, from 3rd Term $20 or from $15 per term. Course fees are normally $4 per hour ($8 for the typical 2 hour class session). Where volunteer teachers are not available for courses in particular demand, fees for these classes are higher, to accommodate a fee to the teacher.
